The Artist
Stephen Lotus is a celestial voyager who maintains a visual log with vivid interpretations of his astronomical observations. He has been traversing the infinite cosmos since April 2020. Lotus’ home base is located on Earth in Atlanta, GA, USA.
The Artwork
Each entry in Stephen Lotus’ log is a digital rendering created solely with mobile applications. His abstract renditions utilize subtle movement to put one in the middle of epic cosmic events: a galactic explosion, a dreamy wormhole, melted nebulas, or even an encounter with a celestial titan. These mesmerizing space-scapes transport his audience through metaphorical hyperspace and into the deepest realms of their mind or their Innerverse (inner universe).
The Innerverse
Lotus is a strong believer in regularly practicing introspection for overall growth and wellness. Introspection is the psychological process of examining one’s own mental processes to strengthen self-awareness. The Innerverse is a personal interdimensional realm where one achieves a heightened state of introspection. The intention of the artwork is to help his audience make that transition to this spiritual plane so they may explore the inner workings of their true self on a higher level.
